Qualitas of Life Foundation will celebrate the 2020 Hispanic Heritage Month by hosting its first Virtual Financial Resources Fair to empower the community to access financial services in New York.
The event will start on Wednesday, October 14th, and it will continue on Thursday, October 15th, each day from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The Fair will bring together representatives from the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA), the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP), the Department of Small Business Services (SBS), and organizations like Inclusiv, Ariva, BOC Capital, Spring Bank, among others to be part of the two main panels: Economic Justice and Creating Prosperous Communities.
The 1st Virtual Financial Resources Fair will be a great opportunity for the attendees to learn about reliable services, financial tools, and programs key to improve their financial health, as well as to create awareness of the economic hardships and lack of information on basic financial services depriving the Hispanic community of financial inclusion.
