Myriam Rebling recibió un reconocimiento por su labor en beneficio de la comunidad Hispana

En el marco del mes internacional de la Mujer, el cónsul general de México en Nueva York, Jorge Islas López, entregó un reconocimiento de la Sociedad de Cónsules Extranjeros en Nueva York a Myriam Rebling, directora ejecutiva de Qualitas of Life Foundation por su labor en beneficio de la comunidad hispana en el área tri estatal.

La pandemia del coronavirus, “nos ha recordado lo frágil que es la situación de las mujeres en el ámbito laboral” expresó oportunamente Rebling mientras aceptaba el reconocimiento. Actualmente, 4 de cada 5 personas que asisten a los talleres de Qualitas of Life, son mujeres. “Podemos contribuir a su empoderamiento en la sociedad, a su aportación para la estabilidad de su familia, y abonar a que ellas se realicen en lo personal en un plano más allá de sus tareas domésticas”, agregó.

Más allá de brindar educación financiera, durante el año 2020, Qualitas of Life contribuyó a aliviar las necesidad de miles de familias Hispanas que no califican para recibir ayuda del Gobierno Estadounidense con más de US $500 mil de recursos de emergencia. Este logro, se debe al apoyo y contribución de varias familias donantes que confiaron en la organización.

“Esta crisis nos permitió constatar lo que podemos lograr cuando estamos unidos”, resaltó Rebling al tiempo que reconoció el apoyo incondicional del cónsul Jorge Islas López y del Consulado General de México en Nueva York. Asimismo, agradeció a los donantes por su generosa contribución.

La misión de Qualitas of Life es mejorar la calidad de vida de los Hispanos que viven en Estados Unidos y ayudarlos a incorporarse al sistema financiero del país brindándoles las herramientas educativas necesarias para lograrlo.

Within the framework of International Women’s Month, the Consul General of Mexico in New York, Jorge Islas López, presented an award from the Society of Foreign Consuls in New York to Myriam Rebling, executive director of the Qualitas of Life Foundation for her work in benefit of the Hispanic community in the tri-state area.

The coronavirus pandemic, “has reminded us how fragile is the situation of women in the workplace,” Rebling timely expressed as she accepted the recognition. Currently, 4 out of 5 people who attend Qualitas of Life workshops are women. “We can contribute to their empowerment in society, to their contribution to the stability of their family, and help them to go beyond their domestic tasks,” she added.

Further providing financial education, during 2020, Qualitas of Life contributed to alleviating the needs of thousands of Hispanic families who do not qualify for assistance from the United States Government with more than US $ 500,000 in emergency resources. This achievement is due to the support and contribution of several donor families who trusted the organization.

“This crisis allowed us to verify what we can achieve when we are united,” Rebling stressed while she recognized the unconditional support of Consul Jorge Islas López and the General Consulate of Mexico in New York. She also thanked the donors for their generous contributions.

The mission of Qualitas of Life is to improve the quality of life of Hispanics living in the United States and to help them join the country’s financial system by providing them with the necessary educational tools to achieve their goals.
