44 workshops were provided during the first quarter, where we reach out to 338 people

New York, NY, May 17th, 2018.- At Qualitas of Life a few things make us happier that we know that our participants after taking our Financial Education workshops learn how to open a bank account, finish the course with clear financial goals, are able to avoid a scam and financial abuse, and by learning about basic financial management skills allows them to plan and make better decisions for the future.

The first quarter of 2018 was great for the Qualitas family, we had on March 24th our Financial Access Fair, where more than 140 people received financial services and counseling during the event that was held at St. Jerome H.A.N.D.S. Community Center.

In addition, 44 workshops were provided during the first quarter, where we reach out to 338 people. We also had the first graduation of the year on March 12th, where victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and violent crimes took one of our Financial Education 8-sessions-course at Violence Intervention Program in the East Harlem.

Through our programs, we train our participants to use their available resources with the objective of improving their personal finances and providing more opportunities for their families. In our most recent impact measurement, we find out that 90% of our participants after taking our workshops have either started making a budget or increased the frequency in which they keep a spending log. Isn’t that great?

We will continue with our mission in order to foster the financial security and improve the standard of living of the Hispanic community, and we are sure that the second quarter of 2018, which already started, will be great for the Qualitas Family![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][us_gallery ids=”3661,3659″ columns=”2″ indents=”1″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
