Financial Education for Children and Youth
At Qualitas of Life, we believe that financial literacy is a fundamental skill that should be nurtured from an early age. By equipping children and youth with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed financial decisions, we empower them to build a more secure future.
Our Initiatives: We have proudly collaborated with several organizations to bring financial education to young learners, including: CUNY Explorers, DYCD (Department of Youth & Community Development), Floating Hospital, John Jay College, BCCP (Bronx Community College Program), International Community High School (Bronx) and NYC Kids Rise (Current Program).
Children’s Day with Familia Adelante - Mercy Center
One of our signature events is the annual Children's Day, held in partnership with Familia Adelante - Mercy Center. This special event is designed to celebrate the role of children within the family while promoting financial education in a fun, engaging, and interactive way. Through hands-on activities, families gain practical tools to foster healthy financial habits across all ages, reinforcing the importance of financial literacy at home.
By investing in financial education for young people, we are shaping a generation that is more financially aware, responsible, and prepared for the future.
Financial Access Fair
Qualitas of Life Foundation organizes Financial Fairs to connect the Hispanic community with financial education and essential resources. Through workshops, financial guidance, and networking, we empower individuals to achieve economic stability.
At these events, we celebrate our program graduates and support entrepreneurs by providing a platform to showcase their businesses. Our participation helps strengthen community bonds and promote financial resilience, thanks to the collaboration of our partners and sponsors.
Community Outreach
We attend community events to offer services and resources to the Hispanic community. Our information booths provide flyers, program information, and connect with potential participants. Many participants learn about us through these events.
“With all the knowledge Qualitas provided, I was able to structure my business, identify my clients, and better understand finances. I thought I was already organized, but I wasn’t—I was lost. Not anymore. After these classes, my mindset has changed, and I truly think like an entrepreneur with a big vision. I realized that it can be done.”
— Reina, Entrepreneurship Course Participant
