WHAT:
We invite you to join Team Qualitas of Life in the 2019 TCS NYC Marathon festivities! Run or walk the 5K “Abbott Dash to the Finish Line 5K” to bring the Qualitas’ family together and fundraise to benefit the Latino and Hispanic immigrant community with financial education.
Team Qualitas of Life will take the streets of Manhattan, run or walk a 5K and finish at the famed Marathon finish line in Central Park—without running 26.2 miles!
As Run for Qualitas of Life team runner you will receive a personal fundraising web page, a signature Team Qualitas of Life running shirt, and additional welcome kit. You will also be invited to our exclusive Team Qualitas of Life post-race celebration. The 5K run “Abbott Dash to the Finish Line” is on Saturday, November 2 at 8:45 am – the day before the TCS NYC Marathon.
WHERE:
The starting point it’s at the UN Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (245 E 47th St, New York, NY 10017), and will end at the famous finish line of the TCS New York City Marathon in Central Park.
WHY:
This 5K run is an opportunity to bring the Qualitas family together and to fundraise for something that matters– to ensure that Latino and Hispanic immigrant families receive life-changing resources in case of any financial eventuality.
We encourage volunteers, Board members, Qualitas’ beneficiaries, staff, allies, friends, family (all are welcome) to sing up and join Team Qualitas of Life.
HOW TO REGISTER?
There are two simple steps that you must follow:
- Register to “Abbott Dash to the Finish Line 5K” in NYRR website (click here).
- It will ask you to sign up and create an account with NYRR first, but once you are done (it’s a very easy step) it will go directly to the “Abbott Dash to the Finish Line 5K” page, to continue with the registration you have to click <<add to cart>>
- Then, click <<continue to check out>>
- NOTE: In Team affiliation please choose “Unattached”
- Once you are registered to the 5K run with NYRR, it’s very important that you register with Qualitas of Life Foundation and send us your size for your team gear t-shirt (click here)
