Consulate General of Mexico in Boston and Qualitas of Life signed a collaboration agreement

With this collaboration agreement, Qualitas will offer its financial education workshops for the Mexican and Hispanic community that live in the northeast of the United States

Boston, MA., April 30th, 2018.- The Consul General of Mexico in Boston, Emilio Rabasa, and the founder and president of the Board of Directors of Qualitas of Life Foundation, Marcela Orvañanos, signed on April 29th a collaboration agreement between the Consulate General of Mexico in Boston and Qualitas of Life.

This collaboration agreement is established within the “Patrimony Protection” Program, with which Qualitas of Life will be able to provide its financial education program to the states of Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, and Massachusetts; to serve, through the financial education workshops, the Mexican and Hispanic community that live in the rural areas of the northeast of the United States.

In 2017, the Consulate General of Boston and Qualitas of Life had already had a collaboration within the framework of the “Specific Program of Protection to the Patrimony and Family Economy” in order to provide two basic financial education workshops to the Mexican and Hispanic community living in Middlebury, VT and Nashua, NH. 
“With this agreement, we will be able to extend our Financial Education program to more people and families in the Hispanic community of the Northeast of the United States, a community that has a great need for information about personal finances management and access to financial services” said Susana Camarena, Executive Director of Qualitas of Life.

With this collaboration, Qualitas of Life will provide its financial education program to promote financial security, patrimony protection and prepare participants to use available resources in order to improve their personal finances and provide more opportunities for their families.
